The Stockton women’s basketball team had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 63-54 loss to King’s.  Jenn Russell (Scotch Plains/SP-Fanwood) led the Ospreys with a team-high 17 points plus seven rebounds.  Kelley Guarrera (Shamong/Shawnee) posted a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Alyssa Reiter (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) contributed seven points and four assists for Stockton.  The Ospreys shot just 4-22 (18.2%) from three-point range in the game.
 
King’s opened up a pair of nine-point leads in the first half, but Stockton closed the period with a 9-0 run over the final 2:56 to tie the game 25-25 at intermission.  King’s began the second half with a 7-2 spurt that gave the Lady Monarchs a 32-27 advantage, and Stockton trailed for the rest of the game as its three-game win streak was halted, 63-54.
