The Stockton men’s basketball team dominated Rowan 86-58 in a key NJAC South Division game.  Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) led a quintet of double-digit scorers with a game-high 22 points.  Mario Lancioni (Runnemede/ Triton) tallied 16 points and eight assists while Fran Kelly (Wildwood/Wildwood Catholic) and Kevin Brown (Neptune/Neptune) added 12 points apiece.  Omar Smith (Newark/Central) tied his career-high with 11 points.
 
Stockton shot 16-29 (55.2%) from three-point range, including a blistering 10-15 (66.7%) from beyond the arc during a second half in which the Ospreys scored 58 points.  Hubbard drained six three-pointers in the game, followed by Lancioni and Kelly with five and four treys respectively.
 
Rowan went scoreless for the first 8:34 of the game and registered just two points in the first 9:33 as Stockton jumped out to a 17-2 lead behind eight points by Hubbard.  The Profs outscored Stockton 20-11 the rest of the half and trimmed the Ospreys’ lead to just six, 28-22.  Lancioni began the second-half scoring with a three-pointer and Jon Greene (Wildwood/Wildwood) followed with a basket to put Stockton ahead 33-22.
 
After a Rowan hoop, Hubbard drained a trey and Chad Davis (Millville/Sacred Heart) scored five consecutive points for a 41-24 cushion.  The Ospreys unleashed a three-point barrage in which eight of their next 14 field goals came from beyond the arc.  Lancioni and Hubbard capped a 10-0 run with back-to-back treys for 80-50 lead with 4:15 remaining, and Stockton coasted to the 86-58 victory.
