The Stockton men’s basketball team used a strong first half to propel itself to a 75-55 victory over College of New Jersey.  The margin of victory in each of the team’s last five wins has been at least 20 points.  Mario Lancioni (Runnemede/ Triton) led the Ospreys over TCNJ with a game-high 22 points.  Lancioni shot 7-10 from the field, including 2-2 on three-pointers.  Jon Greene (Wildwood/Wildwood) contributed 16 points to the winning effort.
 
Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) scored four early points as Stockton jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first five minutes.  The Ospreys later reeled off 13 consecutive points as TCNJ went scoreless for nearly six minutes.  Lancioni netted five points during the spurt, which resulted in a 36-18 advantage.  Lancioni and Greene finished the half with 10 points apiece to spark Stockton to a 38-21 lead.  The Ospreys never faced a serious challenge in the second half, leading by at least 13 points for the entire period on their way to the 75-55 victory.
