The Stockton men’s basketball team used a big first half and defeated Kean 87-60 in an NJAC home game.  The win marked the fourth consecutive victory for the Ospreys, who were led by Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) with 15 points.  Jon Greene (Wildwood/Wildwood) dominated the paint with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Fran Kelly (Wildwood/Wildwood Catholic) scored eight points on 3-3 shooting (two three-pointers).
 
Stockton led 16-3 after a free throw by Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) 6:05 into the game. Later, with the Ospreys leading by 12, Kelly drained a three-pointer that ignited a 17-4 run that put Stockton on top 40-15.  The Ospreys closed the half out with a basket by Kevin Brown (Neptune/Neptune) that gave them a 49-22 lead at the break.  Stockton shot 63.6 percent from the field and Greene led all players with 12 points in the first half.
 
Hubbard hit two consecutive three-pointers to cap a 10-0 run to open the second half, making the score 59-22.  Ryan Purdy (Glendora/Triton) later sank two three-pointers as the Stockton bench got into the act down the stretch.  Everyone on the Stockton roster played at least seven minutes and 14 Ospreys scored points as Stockton cruised to its fourth straight win, 87-60.
