Boxscore
The Stockton men’s basketball team fought off a second-half rally by Kean to win its third consecutive game, 70-65.  Jerome Hubbard (Neptune/Neptune) led the Ospreys with 21 points, Mario Lancioni (Runnemede/Triton) tossed in 16 points and Kai Massaquoi (Lawnside/Haddon Hts.) tallied eight points.  With the victory, Stockton finished its regular season in first place in the NJAC South Division.  After a first-round bye, the Ospreys will host an NJAC tournament semifinal game on February 28.

Hubbard scored 14 first-half points, including a three-pointer at the buzzer, to propel Stockton to a 41-32 lead at halftime.  In the second half, the Ospreys led 51-37 after a three-pointer by Lancioni with 16:46 remaining.  Kean went on a 17-4 run over the next 7:28 to pull within 55-54, but Stockton never relinquished the lead.

After Kean again closed within one point at 57-56, Lancioni drained back-to-back three-pointers for a 63-56 Stockton lead with 5:49 on the clock.  Later, two Kean free throws trimmed the Stockton lead to two points, 67-65, with 26 seconds left, but Hubbard sank a free throw and Lancioni followed with a steal and two free throws to seal the 70-65 win.  The Ospreys concluded the regular season at 18-6 overall (10-3 NJAC).  They will have home-court advantage throughout the NJAC tournament.
