The Stockton lacrosse team was outscored 19-10 by York (PA). Kyle Hausmann (Folsom/St. Joseph) scored a team-high three goals and Keith Bologno (Glen Gardner/ Voorhees) notched two goals and two assists. Josh Dybus (Lyndhurst/St. Peter’s Prep) and Matt Bell (Jackson/ Jackson) each tallied a goal and an assist. The Ospreys were outshot 60-25 in the game, but Stockton goalie Pete Marcelliano (Morristown/West Morris Mendham) stood tall with 18 saves.

Stockton jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals by Hausmann, Bologno and Dybus in the first five minutes. Bell scored later in the period to give the Ospreys a 4-1 lead. York reeled off the first four goals of the second quarter and never relinquished the lead. The Spartans outscored Stockton 7-2 in the period for an 8-6 halftime score. Hausmann pulled Stockton within 8-7 two minutes into the third quarter, but York netted 11 goals to Stockton’s three over the last 26:07 for the 19-10 final.
