The Stockton baseball team fell to Delaware Valley 6-5 after surrendering three runs in the top of the ninth inning.  Jeff Lundell (Henderson, NV/Kentridge) went 2-4 with a run and an RBI while Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) and Matt Hunt (Marlton/St. Joseph) also stroked two hits apiece for Stockton, which dropped its second consecutive game after a 3-0 start.
 
Pat Goodwin (Mays Landing/Holy Spirit) scored an unearned run and Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) produced an RBI with a sacrifice fly as Stockton went ahead 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth.  The lead grew to 4-2 after an RBI single by Scott Fisher (Toms River/TR East) in the fifth frame.  After Delaware Valley plated one run in the top of the eighth, Stockton extended its lead to 5-3 on an RBI single by A.J. Senerchia (Lincroft/Middletown South) in the bottom of the eighth.
 
Delaware Valley took a 6-5 lead with three RBI singles in the top of the ninth inning.  Discher led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk and was sacrificed to second base, where he represented the tying run, but he was stranded there as the next two Stockton batters were retired to end the game with a 6-5 score.
