| Stockton Teams Compete at Danny Curran Invitational | ||
The Stockton men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams competed among NCAA Division I, II and III competition at the Danny Curran Invitational, which was hosted by Widener University. There was no team scoring at the meet and the Ospreys won two individual events in women’s competition. Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/ Oakcrest) won the high jump (1.60m) and Stephanie Aromando (Newton/Kittatinny) won the hammer throw (44.18m) for the second consecutive week. Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) finished third in the 400-meter hurdles (1:08.38), slightly ahead of Katelyn Reiter (Union/Union) who placed fourth in the event (1:09.98). For the Stockton men’s team, Raimundo Leach (Mays Landing/ Oakcrest) finished third in the 110-meter hurdles (15.99 seconds) and Bryan Walsh (Jamesburg/Monroe Twp.) placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:02.49). |
