The Stockton baseball team upset eighth-ranked College of New Jersey 6-3 in a NJAC road game for its second win over a top-10 team in three days.  Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) went 3-5 with two runs scored and extended his hitting streak to six games.  Joe Sacerdote (Deptford/ Gloucester Catholic) went 2-3 with a home run and three RBI while Scott Fisher (Toms River/TR East) was 2-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

Fisher ripped an RBI double and then scored on an error to give Stockton a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.  Sacerdote blasted a three-run homer and Matt Hunt (Marlton/St. Joseph) added an RBI single as the Ospreys scored four runs in the third frame for an insurmountable 6-0 advantage.  TCNJ finally got on the board with two runs in the sixth inning and added another in the seventh, but the Stockton bullpen shut down the Lions for the 6-3 victory.

Starter Sean Donovan (Hazlet/Raritan) earned the pitching victory, allowing three runs on 13 hits in six-plus innings pitched.  Amit Shah (Maple Shade/Maple Shade) tossed one scoreless inning and closer John O’Hara (Clayton/Gloucester Catholic) pitched the final two frames without allowing a hit or run for his third saved of the season.
