Results
The Stockton women’s rowing team competed in the Johns Hopkins Invitational. The Ospreys finished second in their heat of the varsity four with a time of 7:31.85 and advanced to the grand final, where they finished fourth in 7:50.94. Tarin Stauffer (Ocean City/Ocean City), Emileah Switzer (Tinton Falls/Maranatha Christian), Michele Elberson (Atlantic City/Atlantic City), Nicole Price (Egg Harbor/ Absegami) and coxswain Lauren Brown (Brigantine/Holy Spirit) were in the boat. The Stockton novice four of Ceili Bachman (Lincoln, PA/Avon Grove), Melanie Whalen (Long Valley/West Morris Central), Regina Shayakhmetova (Freehold/ Colts Neck) and Sara Garrison (Pittsgrove/Salem County Tech), with Brown as coxswain, registered a time of 8:12.05 that was good for second place. |
