Game 1 / Game 2
The Stockton baseball team won the first game of its NJAC doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark 3-0, but the Scarlet Raiders scored 15 runs on 18 hits and defeated Stockton 15-4 in the nightcap.  Scott Fisher (Toms River/TR East) pitched a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts in the opener.  Fisher also went 2-4 with an RBI and a stolen base on offense.  Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) went 3-5 with a run scored.

Stockton tallied the only three runs of the game in the fifth inning for the 3-0 triumph.  Nick Corrado (West Deptford/Gloucester Catholic) scored an unearned run on a throwing error.  Pat Goodwin (Mays Landing/Holy Spirit) notched an RBI on a squeeze-bunt single that scored Discher and Fisher stroked an RBI single to bring home Goodwin with the final run.

Rutgers-Newark jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first two innings of the second game and defeated Stockton 15-4.  The Ospreys pulled within 7-3 on RBI singles by Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) and A.J. Senerchia (Lincroft/Middletown South) and a sacrifice fly by Jeff Lundell (Henderson, NV/Kentridge (WA)) in the fourth frame, but they could get no closer.  Senerchia went 3-3 with a double and an RBI while Goodwin was 3-5 for Stockton in the game.
