Varsity Four Places Second at Knecht Cup

Results
The Stockton women’s rowing team competed at the Knecht Cup in Camden over the weekend. The varsity four of Tarin Stauffer (Ocean City/Ocean City), Emileah Switzer (Tinton Falls/Maranatha Christian), Michele Elberson (Atlantic City/ Atlantic City) and Nicole Price (Egg Harbor/Absegami) placed second behind Vassar in the varsity four Division III final with a time of 8:05.3. Lauren Brown (Brigantine/Holy Spirit) was the coxswain for the Ospreys.

Earlier, Stockton advanced to the varsity four Division III final by posting a time of 8:31.0 to finish third in its heat of six boats. The time was the fourth fastest out of 12 entries that competed in the two heats on the first day of the Knecht Cup.
