Women Seventh, Men 14th at CTC Championships

Results
The Stockton women’s outdoor track & field team placed seventh out of 19 with 68 points and the Osprey men’s team finished 14th out of 18 with 12.50 points at the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships hosted by DeSales University.  Meredith Malloy (Hamilton/Hamilton West) won the 10,000-meter run by almost three minutes (37:44) and Jim Karwacki (Florence/Florence) won the 2000-meter racewalk (17:59) for Stockton.
 
Kelly Rozing (Hazlet/Raritan) finished second in the discus (39.41m) and the 4x400 relay team of Rachel Joseph (Livingston/Livingston), Katherine Rudy (Bound Brook/ Bound Brook), Laura Daniels (Cherry Hill/Cherokee) and Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) also placed second (4:15.05).  Gibney finished third in the 400-meter hurdles (1:08.67) as well. 
 
Victoria Barden (Bayville/Central) placed third in the high jump (1.60m) and Stephanie Aromando (Newton/Kittatinny) was third in the hammer throw for the Ospreys.  Mike Powers (Pennsville/Pennsville) placed seventh in the javelin for the Stockton men’s team.
