Boxscore
The Stockton baseball team pounded out 18 hits and rolled to a 14-1 victory over Neumann in a non-conference game at Bernie Robbins Stadium.  Stockton head coach Marty Kavanagh collected his 100th victory in his sixth season on the Ospreys’ bench.  Matt Hunt (Marlton/St. Joseph) went 4-4 with two RBI and two runs while Pat Goodwin (Mays Landing/Holy Spirit) was 3-4 with two runs scored.  Scott Fisher (Toms River/TR East) also went 2-3 with a double and an RBI for the Ospreys.

Winning pitcher Sean Donovan (Hazlet/Raritan) tossed a complete game and allowed one run on four hits with five strikeouts.  The game was stopped in the seventh inning due to the 10-run rule.  Stockton scored seven runs in the first inning, including two on a single by Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) and one on an RBI single by Fisher, for a 7-0 lead.

Allen earned another RBI on a sacrifice fly as part of a two-run second inning that increased the lead to 9-0.  Hunt added RBI singles in the third and fourth innings as the Ospreys continued to pull away, leading 14-0 after four frames.  Neumann spoiled the shutout bid by Donovan with its only run on a groundout in the fifth inning and Stockton coasted to the 14-1 win.
