The Stockton baseball team, the No. 1 seed, finished as the ECAC Metro tournament runner-up after a 5-4 loss to second-seeded Ramapo. Joe Sacerdote (Deptford/ Gloucester Catholic) went 3-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. Jeff Lundell (Henderson, NV/Kentridge (WA)) and Chris Discher (Cherry Hill/CH West) each went 2-4 at the plate, and Discher also registered one RBI. Despite the outcome, the Ospreys finished the season with a school-record 23 victories.

Sacerdote doubled home two runs in the first inning to give Stockton the early 2-0 lead. Ramapo pulled ahead 3-2 before the Ospreys tied the game 3-3 on an RBI single by Discher in the bottom of the fifth. Sacerdote scored on an RBI groundout by Matt Hunt (Marlton/St. Joseph) in the sixth frame to put Stockton on top 4-3. Ramapo later plated the tying run in the eighth inning and scored the decisive tally on a wild pitch in the top of the ninth to defeat the Ospreys 5-4.
