Pat Tolomeo

Boxscore
Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored both goals for Richard Stockton (3-0-1) to lead the Ospreys to a 2-0 victory over DeSales (3-2) in the final game of the Stockton Seashore Classic.  Stockton won the tournament with a 2-0 record and Tolomeo was named the tournament MVP.  Stockton goalie Matt Hart (Dayton/South Brunswick) needed just one save, a diving stop in the first five minutes, to record his third shutout of the season.

Tolomeo gave Stockton a 1-0 lead with his first tally at 16:08 after a nifty setup by Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) who earned an assist on the scoring play.  In the second half, Brennen Fitzsimmons (Neptune/Neptune) lobbed a long pass up the field toward Tolomeo who flicked the ball over charging the DeSales goalie and into the open net for his second goal of the game.

Tolomeo scored three goals in two games at the Stockton Seashore Classic and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by teammates Hart, Fitzsimmons, McCallum, Ray Nelson (Toms River/TR South) and Sal Pistone (Blackwood/ Highland).  Frank Vogas (Ramapo), Matt Brady, Nick Sylvester, Michael DiMarco (Catholic), Andrew Marshall and Derek Long (DeSales) also collected All-Tournament honors.
