Richard Stockton (7-1-1, 1-0) won its fourth consecutive game and extended its unbeaten streak to seven (6-0-1) by handing New Jersey City (6-1, 0-1) its first loss of the season, 4-2.  Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) led the Ospreys with two goals while Courtney Dougherty (Ocean City/Ocean City) tallied a goal on a penalty kick and dished an assist.  Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) tallied one goal for Stockton and Stephanie Anderson (Hackettstown/Mt. Olive) also notched a point by assisting on Altman’s first goal.
 
Gibney scored the only goal of the first half with an assist by Dougherty at 16:50.  Dougherty converted a penalty kick 2:54 into the second half for a 2-0 lead.  Altman later booted two goals in a span of 5:48 to give Stockton a commanding 4-0 advantage.  New Jersey City broke the shutout with two goals in the final 16 minutes, including one with just 23 seconds remaining, but the Ospreys coasted to the 4-2 victory.
