Richard Stockton (12-5, 2-0) swept Rowan (5-10, 0-3) in three sets in an NJAC match on the road. Amanda Burkart (Cresskill/Cresskill) and Christine Velott (Moorestown/ Moorestown) slammed 13 kills apiece to lead the Ospreys to the 25-12, 25-20, 25-17 victory. Velott also scooped 15 digs while Burkart tallied 13 digs in the match. Christine Aletras (Ridgewood/Ridgewood) finished with 31 assists and 11 digs for Stockton. Christine Astarita (Selden, NY/Newfield) registered a team-high 18 digs and also served two aces in the three-set sweep. With the win, the Ospreys halted a brief two-match losing skid. |
