Richard Stockton (1-6) earned its first win of the season with a 2-0 shutout of Neumann (3-8).  Christy Barbetto (Hammonton/St. Joseph) and Katie Mattsson (Brick/Brick Twp.) scored goals in the second half to lead the Ospreys to victory.  Stockton goalie Debi O’Kane (Cologne/ Absegami) registered five saves in the game and produced her second career shutout. 

After a scoreless first half in which Stockton outshot Neumann 10-3, the Ospreys broke through for two goals in the first seven minutes of the second half.  Barbetto converted a feed from Gabrielle Palermo (Ocean Twp./ Ocean Twp.) just 3:22 into the period to give Stockton a 1-0 lead.  Mattsson tipped home a pass from Jessica Thatcher (Westampton/Rancocas Valley) 3:04 later and Stockton preserved the shutout for its first win of the season, 2-0.
