Boxscore
Richard Stockton (9-2-1, 3-1) was shut out 2-0 by 17th-ranked Rowan (7-0-1, 2-0-1) in an NJAC home game.  The loss ended Stockton’s six-game winning streak and nine-game unbeaten streak.  Goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/ Shawnee) registered four saves in the match, but the Ospreys were held off the scoreboard for the first time in their last 26 games.  Stockton’s last shutout loss also was a 2-0 defeat to the Profs, back on September 26, 2007.

Rowan scored the only goal of the first half at 21:02 for a 1-0 lead.  The Profs added an insurance goal early in the second half at 49:09 to double their cushion to 2-0.  Stockton’s best scoring chance of the night came in the 55th minute when Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) fired a shot from point-blank range that was denied by the Rowan goalie to keep the Ospreys scoreless.
