Richard Stockton (1-7) fell just short on its home field in a 3-2 loss to Widener (4-6).  Jessica Thatcher (Westampton/ Rancocas Valley) scored her first career goal and Jackie Turner (Medford/Shawnee) scored her first goal of the season on a penalty stroke.  Starting goaltender Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) registered 10 saves in the first 54 minutes and then Christine Harvey (Edgewood, MD/Aberdeen) made two stops in the final 16 minutes.

Thatcher scored just 8:10 into the game to give the Ospreys an early 1-0 lead but Widener responded with a goal five minutes later and evened the contest at 1-1, where it remained into the second half.  The Pride took the lead for good with a tally at 51:15 and extended their advantage to 3-1 with another goal 10 minutes later.  Turner gave Stockton a late glimmer of hope by converting a penalty kick to pull the Ospreys within 3-2 with only 21 seconds on the clock, but time soon expired in the 3-2 defeat.
