Richard Stockton (10-2-1, 4-1) rebounded from its first loss since opening weekend with a 1-0 victory over Rutgers-Newark (5-5-1, 1-3-1) in an NJAC home game.  Leah Pocoroba (Galloway/Holy Spirit) scored the game-winning goal late in the first half and Stockton goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) recorded one save for her sixth shutout of the season.

Rutgers-Newark nearly took an early lead on a shot off the crossbar in the 13th minute that proved to be its best scoring chance of the game.  Stockton finally bested the defensive-minded Scarlet Raiders late in the first half as Courtney Dougherty (Ocean City/Ocean City) fed a pass to Pocoroba who lofted a shot from the top of the box that went over the Rutgers-Newark goalie and into the net at 35:07.  The Ospreys protected the lead throughout the second and posted their eighth shutout of the year, 1-0.
