Stockton Finishes Second at FDU-Florham Tournament | ||
Lebanon Valley boxscore / FDU-Florham boxscore Richard Stockton (17-7) won three of its four matches at the FDU-Florham Devils Classic and finished second at the nine-team tournament. Stockton setter Christine Aletras (Ridgewood/Ridgewood) was named to the All-Tournament Team after dishing a total of 158 assists in four matches. On Friday, the Ospreys swept Albright 25-11, 25-15, 25-21. Audrey O’Donnell (Bogota/Immaculate Heart) slammed 14 kills and Aletras dished 26 assists. Amanda Burkart (Cresskill/Cresskill) contributed eight kills, three aces and five digs. Stockton then dominated Baptist Bible 25-9, 25-14, 25-12. Burkart notched 11 kills and 11 digs while O’Donnell registered 11 kills and four blocks. Aletras handed out 33 assists and also recorded three blocks for the Ospreys. Stockton began the second day with a 26-24, 25-15, 20-25, 25-23 loss to Lebanon Valley. Aletras registered 47 assists and 18 digs while Burkart tallied 13 kills and 25 digs. O’Donnell slammed a team-high 14 kills. Stockton then defeated FDU-Florham 25-23, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17 in its final match of the tournament. Aletras handed out 52 assists in the victory. Burkart notched 18 kills and nine digs while Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) contributed 17 kills and 10 digs. |
