Richard Stockton (9-3-1, 4-1) broke through for a late goal and defeated Rutgers-Newark (6-6, 0-4) 1-0 for its sixth consecutive win.  Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored his eighth goal in the last six games and Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/Ocean City) extended his point streak to six games with an assist on the play.  Stockton goalkeeper Matt Hart (Dayton/South Brunswick) needed just two saves to post his fifth shutout of the season.

The close match remained scoreless for over 87 minutes before Stockton’s top two scorers combined to get the Ospreys on the board.  Duarte scored the game-winning goal on a header at 87:16 after Tolomeo served a cross to him from the left side.  Overall, Stockton outshot Rutgers-Newark 14-9 and proved to be one goal better in registering its sixth straight win, 1-0.
