Stockton Wins Three of Four at Susquehanna

Richard Stockton (23-8) won three of its four matches at the Susquehanna Crusader Classic and Audrey O’Donnell (Bogota/Immaculate Heart) was selected to the All-Tournament Team for the Ospreys. 

On Friday, Stockton swept Misericordia 25-13, 25-17, 25-15 behind 13 kills and 10 digs from Amanda Burkart (Cresskill/Cresskill) plus 42 assists by Christine Aletras (Ridgewood/Ridgewood).  Stockton then swept York (PA) 25-20, 25-15, 25-23.  Aletras led the Ospreys with 30 assists and 20 digs while O’Donnell added 14 kills and Burkart reached a milestone with her 1,500th career kill.

On Saturday, Stockton began with a 25-19, 17-25, 20-25, 26-24, 15-11 loss to tournament-host Susquehanna.  O’Donnell slammed 20 kills and Burkart registered 12 kills and 11 digs.  Aletras notched 40 assists and 17 digs in the five-set match.  The Ospreys concluded play with a 25-11, 25-11, 25-22 sweep of Rowan.  Aletras tallied 32 assists and 13 digs, and O’Donnell recorded 12 kills and five blocks for the Ospreys.
