Richard Stockton (3-10, 0-3) was edged 1-0 by 16th-ranked William Paterson (11-3, 2-2) in an NJAC home game for the Ospreys.  Stockton goaltender Debi O’Kane (Cologne/ Absegami) registered eight saves to keep the Ospreys within striking distance, but the Pioneers outshot Stockton 14-1 and held a whopping 17-0 advantage in penalty corners.

William Paterson broke the scoreless tie with the only goal of the contest late in the first half at 32:22.  Stockton’s lone shot on goal also came in the first half on a deflection by Katie Mattsson (Brick/ Brick Twp.) that was turned aside by the Pioneers’ goalie.  Despite a solid defensive effort, the Ospreys fell to William Paterson 1-0.
