Richard Stockton (11-4-1, 5-2) was edged 1-0 by fourth-ranked and undefeated Montclair State (15-0, 7-0), halting the Ospreys’ eight-game winning streak.  Stockton goalkeeper Matt Hart (Dayton/South Brunswick) was solid in goal with six saves, but the Ospreys were shut out for the fourth time this season.  Stockton registered six shots and three corner kicks in the game.

Montclair struck for the only goal of the match in the first half at 23:15.  Stockton had its best scoring chance in the 32nd minute when Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) slipped behind the Montclair defense but clanged his shot off the left post.  Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/Ocean City) also was denied on a late-game free kick that was labeled for the top right corner but knocked away by the Montclair goalie to keep the Ospreys off the scoreboard.
