Richard Stockton (24-8, 7-0) swept William Paterson (16-7, 2-5) 25-12, 25-9, 25-18 for its eighth win in the last nine matches.  The Ospreys also kept their hold on first place in the NJAC, one game ahead of defending league champ Montclair State.  Christine Astarita (Selden, NY/Newfield) paced Stockton with match highs of 11 digs on defense and seven aces on offense.  Audrey O’Donnell (Bogota/ Immaculate Heart) and Amanda Burkart (Cresskill/ Cresskill) spiked 10 kills apiece.

Burkart led the Ospreys with five kills in the opening set and Stockton closed with a 12-3 run to win 25-12.  In the middle set, Christine Aletras (Ridgewood/ Ridgewood) dished 11 of her 32 assists and served two aces while O’Donnell tallied five kills as Stockton dominated William Paterson 25-9.  Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) stroked four of her seven kills in the third set and the Ospreys scored the final five points of the match to complete the sweep 25-18.
