Richard Stockton (3-11, 0-4) was overwhelmed 7-0 by College of New Jersey (12-1, 5-0), the top-ranked team in the nation, in an NJAC road game. Debi O’Kane (Cologne/ Absegami) started the match as Stockton’s goalie and made 11 saves in the first 30 minutes against the powerful TCNJ offense. Christine Harvey (Edgewood, MD/ Aberdeen) then took over in goal and made five saves in the final 40 minutes for the Ospreys. College of New Jersey struck for five goals, including three in a span of 2:09, while taking 21 shots and attempting 15 penalty corners in the first half. The Lions added two more goals on eight shots in the second half. Stockton was unable to register a shot in the game, however the Ospreys did take two penalty corners in the second half. |
