Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) scored two goals to lead 23rd-ranked Richard Stockton (17-2-1, 8-1) to a 4-1 victory over William Paterson (10-5-1, 4-4-1) in the regular season finale.  Laura O’Shea (Petersburg/Ocean City) and Samantha Bean (Manchester/Manchester Twp.) added one goal apiece for the Ospreys.  Stockton goalie Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) earned the win with two saves.  Stockton finished in first place in the NJAC and earned the top seed for next week’s NJAC tournament.

O’Shea gave the Ospreys an early 1-0 lead with a goal just 8:50 into the match.  Gibney netted her first marker at 24:12 with an assist by Kim Mancini (Toms River/ TR North), but William Paterson got on the board late in the half for a 2-1 count at intermission.  Gibney gave Stockton some breathing room with her second tally of the game only 4:47 into the second half for a 3-1 lead.  Bean received a pass from Lindsay Roake (Neptune/Neptune) and scored at 79:07 to seal Stockton’s eighth straight win, 4-1.
