Boxscore
Kim Mancini (Toms River/TR North) scored two goals as top-seeded Richard Stockton (18-2-1) defeated fourth-seeded Montclair State (10-10-1) 3-1 in a rain-soaked NJAC semifinal game.  Ashley Goodsell (Southampton/Seneca) also netted a goal and Stockton goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) recorded two saves.  The victory marked nine straight wins for the Ospreys as they advanced to their second consecutive NJAC title game on Saturday.

Mancini got the Ospreys off to an early 1-0 lead just 41 seconds into the game as she cleaned up a loose ball in front of the net.  After an unsuccessful pass, the ball bounced off a Montclair defender and skipped right back to Mancini, who shot it past the Montclair keeper for the goal.  The Red Hawks evened the score at 1-1 in the 20th minute on a floating shot on goal that sneaked over the head of Rogers

Just before halftime, Stockton took the lead for good when Goodsell notched her second tally of the season.  The play was set up by Amanda Altman (Beachwood/ Toms River South) who sent a perfect pass from the right wing to the foot of Goodsell, who slipped the ball past the Montclair goalie to give the Ospreys a 2-1 halftime lead.  In the second half, Mancini tallied her second goal of the game in the 49th minute, chipping a high shot into the net from just outside the box to complete the scoring in the 3-1 Stockton triumph.
