Richard Stockton (4-15, 0-6) concluded the 2008 season on the wrong end of a 6-1 decision in an NJAC game at Montclair State (11-7, 2-4).  Christy Barbetto (Hammonton/ St. Joseph) scored her fifth goal of the season for the Ospreys.  Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) started the game in the cage and battled the Montclair offense with 12 saves in 55 minutes.  Christine Harvey (Edgewood, MD/ Aberdeen) played goalie for the final 15 minutes and registered two saves.

Montclair scored twice in the first half and increased its lead to 3-0 with a tally just 1:07 into the second half.  Barbetto got the Ospreys on the board with an unassisted goal 3:37 later to pull Stockton within 3-1.  The Ospreys would get no closer as Montclair broke the game open with two goals in the next seven minutes followed by another in the final 45 seconds for a 6-1 score.  The game was the final contest for seniors Dana Meyers (Upper Deerfield/Cumberland) and Jessica Thatcher (Westampton/Rancocas Valley).
