Boxscore The game was back-and-forth in the first half with neither team holding a lead higher than seven points. Stockton led for the almost the entire first 10 minutes of the game, but the Ospreys held their last lead of the game at 14-13 after a jumper by Sciarrillo. Stockton tied the game on two more occasions in the period before falling behind 25-18. Fagan later hit two free throws to pull the Ospreys within 28-25 before William Paterson scored the final basket of the half for a 30-25 score. In the second half, Stockton was able to cut the lead to a single point twice, on a layup by Fagan at 15:41 and later on two free throws by Guarrera at 14:15, however that is as close as the Ospreys came. Stockton later chopped a 10-point deficit down to just four at 52-48 after a jumper by Sciarrillo with 8:02 to play. The Ospreys then went scoreless for nearly four minutes as William Paterson broke the game open with eight consecutive points and went on to defeat Stockton 70-54. |
