Fifteen Richard Stockton (4-14) players scored points as the Ospreys routed Hunter College (5-12) 90-51 for their second win in three days. LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) led Stockton with team highs of 17 points and eight rebounds. Sula Washington (Montgomery Village, MD/Watkins Mill) went 5-5, including one three-pointer, for a career-high 11 points and Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) added 10 points.

Katey Charmello (South Amboy/South Amboy) hit three three-pointers during an early 13-point run that turned a 4-4 tie into a 17-4 Stockton lead. Washington later scored nine consecutive points to increase the Ospreys’ advantage to 31-11. Stockton continued to score at a steady pace in building a 43-24 halftime lead behind nine points apiece from Charmello and Washington. Defensively, the Ospreys forced 10 turnovers and held Hunter to just 27.6 percent shooting.

Stockton put the game out reach in the second half, shooting a torrid 61.8 percent from the field and leading by at least 19 for the entire period. Fagan scored six points during a 12-0 run that resulted in a commanding 64-33 lead with 14:45 to play. Oliver netted 13 second-half points and Stockton was in front by 31 or more for the last 12:27 as the Ospreys cruised to the 90-51 victory 48 hours after Saturday’s 79-71 win over New Jersey City.
