Boxscore Kean took control right from the opening tip and jumped out to an 18-0 lead as the Ospreys went scoreless for the first six minutes before Oliver finally got Stockton on the board with a pair of free throws. A layup by Oliver with 9:23 on the clock made the score 24-8, but Kean broke out to a 44-21 advantage at the break. Stockton’s deficit expanded to 28 points in the second half before the Ospreys shaved the margin down to 20 at 64-44 on a layup by Alyssa Reiter (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) for two of her season-high seven points. Kean responded with eight consecutive markers and Stockton got no closer as the Cougars pulled away down the stretch and topped the Ospreys 81-54. |
