Richard Stockton (6-17, 3-9) avenged an earlier 12-point loss to Rowan (12-8, 6-5) by defeating the Profs 72-62 in an NJAC road game. Aliyah Nelson (Pleasantville/St. Joseph) led the Ospreys team highs of 14 points and five assists. Kelley Guarrera (Shamong/Shawnee) contributed 12 points and a team-best eight rebounds while LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) scored nine points in the game.

In the first half, Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) sank two layups during an eight-point burst that resulted in a 28-16 Stockton lead. Guarrera later scored five points as the Ospreys reeled off seven straight for a commanding 39-21 advantage that proved to be their largest of the game. After Kristin Sciarrillo (Edison/Edison) hit a last-second layup, Stockton was on top 44-27 at the half. The Ospreys shot 51.3 percent from the floor including 4-8 from three-point range.

Rowan cut into the Stockton lead while the Ospreys went scoreless for the first 5:13 of the second half before a basket by Nelson made the score 46-36. The Profs later pulled within two points (52-50), but Stockton responded with a 7-0 run for a 59-50 lead. After Rowan closed the gap to four (61-57), Nelson ended the threat with four straight points for a 65-57 edge. Alyssa Reiter (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) hit four free throws as Stockton went 6-8 at the line in the last 42 seconds and won 72-62.
