Boxscore
In its final home game of the season, Richard Stockton (6-18) struggled offensively and fell to CSAC-leader Cabrini (20-4) 63-45. LaTonya Oliver (West Berlin/Overbrook) notched a career-high with 18 rebounds and also led all scorers with 14 points. Kristin Sciarrillo (Edison/Edison) tallied six points and 11 boards for the Ospreys. Prior to the tip, Stockton honored seniors Cehara Wellington (Cherry Hill/CH East) and Kelley Guarrera (Shamong/ Shawnee) who played in their final home game.

The Cavaliers controlled the contest from the opening tip as they jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first four minutes before Oliver got Stockton on the board with two free throws. Later, the Ospreys were the victims of a 24-8 run that resulted in a 34-14 deficit that was their largest of the half. A layup by Julia Fagan (New Britain, CT/New Britain) with 3:12 on the clock yielded Stockton’s final points of the period, and the Ospreys trailed 38-20 at the break.

In the second half, Stockton began to find success in the post as Oliver tallied 10 of her 14 points in the final 20 minutes. The Ospreys also got a lift off the bench from Sula Washington (Montgomery Village, MD/Watkins Mill) who scored all six of her points in the second half, but Stockton could not get closer than 16 in suffering the 63-45 defeat. The Ospreys shot just 26.8 percent from the field and 1-11 from three-point range in the game.
