Boxscore Guarrera netted five early points and keyed Stockton to a 13-2 lead. After Rutgers-Camden closed within 17-14, Fitzgerald tallied three markers during a five-point burst that put the Ospreys ahead 22-14. Alyssa Reiter (Sewell/ Gloucester Catholic) later scored her only four points of the game as part of an 8-1 spurt that gave Stockton an 11-point cushion (32-21). The lead grew to 12 before Rutgers-Camden scored the final six points of the half and cut Stockton’s edge to 38-32 at intermission. In the second half, the Scarlet Raptors rallied to tie the score at 46, but Oliver answered with a layup to begin a six-point spree that established a 52-46 lead for the Ospreys. Rutgers-Camden battled back again and briefly pulled ahead 57-56 before Fitzgerald tallied four consecutive points during a key 8-1 run that clinched the victory. Stockton led 64-58 with 4:10 to play and stayed in front by at least four points down the stretch to close the season with a 72-64 triumph. |
