Richard Stockton (2-1) concluded its three-game stint in Myrtle Beach by outlasting Capital University (OH) 29-28 in a slugfest that featured 57 runs and 54 hits, including 19 for extra bases. Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) stroked a team-high five hits and registered five RBI. Marc Asta (Jackson/Jackson) went 4-5 with a double, triple, two home runs, seven RBI and six runs. 

Rob Guiliano (Allentown/Allentown) was 4-6 with two home runs, five runs and five RBI while Scott Fisher (Toms River/TR East) went 4-6 with a homer, five RBI and four runs in the offensive explosion. Guiliano and Shaune Collins (Cherry Hill/CH East) each slammed two-run homers during an 11-run third inning that gave Stockton a 12-2 lead. The Ospreys added four runs apiece in their next two turns for a 20-7 advantage after four-and-a-half innings.

Capital sandwiched a nine-run bottom of the fifth and seven-run bottom of the sixth around four tallies by Stockton in the top of the sixth to pull within 24-23 after six innings. The Ospreys again created some breathing room by scoring five times in the next two innings for a 29-23 lead. Capital rallied with five runs in the bottom of the eighth before Sean Appenzeller (Franklinville/Delsea) induced the final four outs and earned a save in the 29-28 triumph.
