Stockton Competes at ECAC Championships

Members of the Stockton indoor track & field teams who had qualified during the season competed in the ECAC Championships at Tufts University. The Stockton women’s team members tied for 42nd with three points while the Osprey men’s team did not score. The meet included competitors from over 50 colleges and universities throughout the Northeast. Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) led Stockton with a seventh-place finish in the high jump (1.62m).

Rachel Joseph (Livingston/Livingston) equaled her personal best and finished eight in the pole vault (3.40m) while Amanda Williams (Williamstown/Williamstown) established a new personal best and tied for 11th in the high jump (1.57m). For the Stockton men’s team, Tony DeFeo (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) tied for 12th in the pole vault (4.40m) and Chris Huch (Tuckerton/ Pinelands) finished 13th in the high jump (1.89m).
