Richard Stockton (3-1) was overwhelmed 27-6 by fourth-ranked Roanoke (8-0) in the second game of its spring break trip. The Ospreys suffered their first defeat after beginning the season with three victories. Matt Bell (Jackson/Jackson) scored a team-high three goals and dished one assist. Josh Dybus (Lyndhurst/St. Peter’s Prep) and Keith Bologno (Glen Gardner/Voorhees) netted two goals apiece while Sean Haugh (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) dealt three assists.

Roanoke dominated the game right from the opening faceoff. The Maroons reeled off 13 consecutive goals before Bologno finally got Stockton on the board with 4:40 remaining in the first half. Dybus and Bell scored two goals apiece in the third quarter, but Roanoke tacked on seven markers in the period for an insurmountable 24-5 lead after three periods. Bologno added his second goal of the game with 6:20 to play and the Ospreys fell 27-6.
