Ospreys Compete in Danny Curran Invitational

Results
The Stockton outdoor track & field teams competed in the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University today. There was no team scoring at the large meet, which featured teams from NCAA Division I, II and III institutions and included upwards of 50 entrants in many of the running events and over 20 competitors in many of the field events. Kelly Rozing (Hazlet/Raritan) was Stockton’s top performer, finishing second in the discus (36.71m).

Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) and Amanda Williams (Williamstown/ Williamstown) were two of the four competitors who tied for third in the high jump (1.56m). Stephanie Aromando (Newton/Kittatinny) placed fourth in the hammer throw (42.94m) while Shelley Gibney(Shamong/Seneca) was fourth in the 400m hurdles (1:08.86). For the Stockton men’s team, Jose Ramos (Vineland/Vineland) finished fifth in the javelin (52.90m) and Bryan Walsh (Jamesburg/Monroe Twp.) was sixth in the 110m hurdles (17.10 seconds).
