Stockton Rows in Murphy Cup |
| The Stockton women’s rowing team competed in the varsity four and novice four at the Murphy Cup, which was held on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Coxswain Ariel Hernandez (Hammonton/Hammonton) and the quartet of Ceili Bachman (Lincoln, PA/Avon Grove), Laura O’Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape), Michele Elberson (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) and Melanie Whalen (Long Valley/West Morris Central) finished second out of six entries in its heat of the varsity four with a time of 8:00.02.
The Ospreys’ novice four of Carrie Borkowski (Belleville/Belleville), Eva Martin (Riverdale/ DePaul Catholic), Stephanie Roth (Millstone Twp./St. John Vianney) and Marie Livesy (Northfield/Mainland) with coxswain Allison Ninfa (Williamstown/Buena) placed sixth in its heat with a time of 9:11.18. |
