Richard Stockton (5-3) was outscored 17-11 by Susquehanna (5-5) in a non-conference road game. The match ended a span during which Stockton played five of its last six away from home. Matt Bell (Jackson/Jackson) led the Ospreys with four goals while Josh Dybus (Lyndhurst/St. Peter’s Prep) and Keith Bologno (Glen Gardner/Voorhees) each tallied two goals and an assist. Stockton scored game-tying goals four times but was outscored 7-2 in the second half and never led in the contest.
The final tie came at 9-9 on a goal by Bologno with 1:26 remaining in a high-scoring first half. Susquehanna scored a goal with one second left in the half and then netted the only marker of the third quarter for an 11-9 lead. Bell pulled Stockton within one goal just 16 seconds into the fourth period but the Crusaders struck five minutes later for a 12-10 edge. After Bologno got the Ospreys within 12-11 with 9:03 to play, Stockton did not score again while Susquehanna pulled away with five consecutive goals for the 17-11 final.
