Boxscore After Rutgers-Camden took a 1-0 lead, Stockton went ahead 2-1 on a rare two-run sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third. A deep fly ball by Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) was caught by the Rutgers-Camden right fielder who slammed into the fence and fell while Fisher and Marc Asta (Jackson/Jackson) tagged up and scored from second and third respectively. Stockton increased its lead to 4-1 on an RBI double by Allen and an RBI single by Nick DiGirolamo (Dumont/Dumont) in the sixth frame. Rutgers-Camden scored one run apiece in the seventh and eighth innings to pull within 4-3 but Stockton added two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth and collected its first NJAC victory of the season, 6-3. |
