Richard Stockton (13-9, 2-6) squandered a four-run lead and fell to College of New Jersey (12-12-1, 4-3) 12-11 in an NJAC home game. Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) went 3-4 with a double and an RBI while Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) was 2-4 with a double and two RBI. Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) also went 2-4 including a solo home run.

Stockton erased a 3-0 deficit with seven runs on six hits and two TCNJ errors in the second inning for a 7-3 lead. Allen stroked a two-run double while Scott Fisher (Toms River/TR East) and Shaune Collins (Cherry Hill/CH East) each contributed RBI singles during the outburst. The Ospreys later led 10-6 after an RBI single by Wedding in the fifth inning and 11-7 after Wasco homered in the sixth frame.

TCNJ rallied with five runs on four hits and an error to take the lead in the top of the seventh. One Stockton batter reached base in each of the last three innings. Wedding even advanced to second base with one out after a single and sacrifice bunt in the eighth frame, but the Ospreys were unable to produce the tying run in the 12-11 defeat.
