Richard Stockton (13-10, 2-7) once again fell victim to a late rally as Rutgers-Camden (8-17, 3-6) scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and defeated the Ospreys 7-3 in an NJAC road game. Jay Merulla (Logan Twp./Kingsway) went 2-4 with a triple and a run while Matt Hunt (Marlton/St. Joseph) was 2-5 at the plate for Stockton.

Matt Allen (Salem/Woodstown) led off the game with a home run to give the Ospreys an early 1-0 lead and extend his hitting streak to seven games. Chris Wedding (Toms River/TR East) drew a bases-loaded walk in the second frame for a 2-0 advantage, but Rutgers-Camden scored twice in the bottom of the sixth for a 2-2 tie.

In the eighth inning, Merulla tripled and then scored on a wild pitch as Stockton regained the lead, 3-2. Rutgers-Camden rallied in the bottom half with five runs on four hits, two walks and hit batsman. All of the runs were scored with two outs. Dan McGuckin (Sicklerville/Winslow Twp.) and Mike Wasco (Riverside/Riverside) each singled in the ninth inning, but Stockton was unable to score and fell 7-3.
