Josh Dybus (Lyndhurst/St. Peter’s Prep) scored six goals and dished two assists to lead Richard Stockton (7-4, 2-1) to a 16-12 victory over Maritime (7-5, 2-2) in a Skyline Conference road game. Brendan McCarthy (Howell/Howell) chipped in three goals and one assist while Matt Bell (Jackson/Jackson) added a goal and a team-high three assists. Stockton goalkeeper Pete Marcelliano (Morristown/Mendham) registered 14 saves in the winning effort.

McCarthy scored two straight goals in the first quarter to give the Ospreys a 4-2 lead, and Stockton later tallied three consecutive markers for a 7-3 advantage. After Jonathan Kelly (Howell/Howell) netted his second of the game to put Stockton ahead 8-4, Maritime rallied with four unanswered goals for an 8-8 tie.

The Ospreys responded with four goals in a span of 9:12, three by Dybus and one by Anthony Bonjavanni (Howell/Howell), for a 12-8 lead. Maritime pulled within 12-11 before Matt Bologno (Glen Gardner/Voorhees) scored to give the Ospreys a two-goal edge. Maritime again closed the gap to one at 13-12, but Bonjavanni scored with 4:14 remaining in the game and sparked a three-goal run as Stockton prevailed 16-12.
