Women Second, Men Eighth in CTC Championships

Results
The Richard Stockton women’s track & field team finished second out of 18 squads while the Osprey men’s team placed eighth out of 16 in the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships, which Stockton hosted at G. Larry James Stadium. Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) won the 400m hurdles (1:06.13) and Rachel Joseph (Livingston/Livingston) won the pole vault (3.40m) for the Ospreys.

Katelyn Reiter (Union/Union) finished second behind Gibney in the 400m hurdles (1:08.07) and Ronika Eckart (Pt. Pleasant/Pt. Pleasant Beach) placed second in the 100m hurdles (15.46 seconds). In the field events, Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/ Oakcrest) finished second in the high jump (1.55m) and Cehara Wellington (Cherry Hill/CH East) was second in the discus (39.07m). The 4x400 relay team of Joseph, Gibney, Reiter and Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/Mainland) also finished second (4:08.99).

For the Stockton men’s team, Jose Ramos (Vineland/Vineland) placed third in the decathlon (5,412 points) while Travis Decker (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) was third in the discus (37.96m) and Dan Ingrum (Egg Harbor City/Absegami) was third in the pole vault (3.35m). Bryan Walsh (Jamesburg/ Monroe Twp.) placed fourth in the 110m hurdles (16.23 seconds) for the Ospreys.
