Women Second, Men Fifth at NJAC Championships |

Results Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) repeated as the NJAC champion in the high jump (1.57m) while Stephanie Aromando (Newton/Kittatinny) won the hammer throw (45.70m) and Rachel Joseph (Livingston/Livingston) won the pole vault (3.25m). Chris Huch (Tuckerton/Pinelands) won the men’s high jump (1.90m) and Tony DeFeo (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) placed second in the men’s pole vault (4.35m) for the Ospreys. Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/Mainland) finished second in the 1500m run (4:48.26) while Ronika Eckart (Pt. Pleasant/Pt. Pleasant Beach) placed second in the 100m hurdles (15.40 seconds) and Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) was second in the 400m hurdles (1:04.56). The Stockton 4x400 relay team of Joseph, Gibney, Evangelist and Katelyn Reiter (Union/Union) also finished in second place (4:06.72) at the NJAC meet. |
